Shipping & Inventory Clerk – Full-Time
Paterson, NJ
Seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual looking to work in a fast-paced environment working with an inventory and shipping team at a facility in Paterson, NJ.
We are seeking someone who is team orientated and energetic. Someone who is a consistent, motivated, responsible.
Position requires Bi-lingual English and Spanish speaking, some lifting max 60 lbs box.
Must pay attention to detail and be a quick learner.
Looking for someone who can jump in feet first, dig in and become an intricate part of a team who will go the extra mile.
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages within the company
- Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
- Place merchandise in warehouse by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks
- Managing inventory stock and labeling cataloging products
- Performing end of month inventory check
- Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records
Qualifications necessary for this position:
- May have some Warehouse or Manufacturing experience
- Attention to details
- Positive work ethic
- Must be able to work independently and under supervision
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks
- Dependability
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fast learner
- Be able to lift up to 60 pounds
- Computer skills, reading and writing, mathematics
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
